When local attorney Gerald (Jerry) Dietz arrived for set-up at this year’s annual Zion Days Parade he was shocked and humbled by the outpouring of supporters that showed up to walk with him. It served as a testament to how the people of Lake County feel about the position Dietz is running for and that they understand and support his plan for improving the Circuit Clerk’s office.
Dietz is seeking the Republican Party’s nomination for the office of Circuit Court Clerk in Lake County. The Clerk of the Circuit Court is the heart of the court system in any judicial circuit and needs someone who understands the position and how to effectively manage the change required to bring the Lake County Clerk’s office into the 21st Century.
Dietz is a lifelong Lake County resident and Republican and will bring the Republican party’s conservative values and hard work ethics with him to this office.

He spent nearly 10 years as a municipal prosecutor observing the Clerk’s Office on a day to day basis first hand and knows what it will take to move the Lake County Circuit Clerk’s Office into the 21st Century.
