WRLR is proud to be sponsoring the 2012 WRLR Battle of the Bands.  This event will be held on Saturday, April 7 starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, 2007 Civic Center Way in Round Lake Beach.  Doors will open at 4:00 p.m. 

Five rockin metal bands like never before will battle it out for cash and other exciting prizes.  Bands include EXIT 2 ENTER, TADASHI, SALINE, CONVOLUTION, ONE TIME HERO, and RAYMOND AND THE PROFESSIONALS.  Enjoy refreshments and some delicious baked goods.  The Auction and Bake Sale will benefit WRLR 98.3 FM. 

Admission is $5 at the door.  Kids 5 and under free.  This is a community event and all ages are welcome. 

This is a key fundraiser for WRLR, your community radio station. This is the only station in Lake, McHenry and Kenosha counties that features local bands on the air, with opportunities for band member interviews, live in studio performances and airplay for their homegrown sound.
