Round Lake Area Trick or Treat hours including Hainesville and Grayslake
Seems like a lot of people are stopping by looking for this years Trick or Treat schedule for the various villages so it must be time to post it. Below is the information that is posted on the village websites.
Village of Round Lake: Sunday, October 26, 1pm to 5pm
Village of Round Lake Beach: Sunday, October 26, 1pm to 5pm
Village of Round Lake Heights: Sunday, October 26, 1pm to 5pm
Village of Round Lake Park: Sunday, October 26, 1pm to 5pm
Village of Hainesville: Sunday, October 26, 3:30pm to 7pm
Village of Grayslake: Friday, October 31 4pm to 7pm

The Village of Grayslake has issued a water boil order, which is expected to remain in effect for the next 36 – 48 hours. Immediately, the Village implemented its procedures to notify the public.
Shortly after 12:30 PM, the Village’s water system lost water pressure. A preliminary investigation revealed that a telemetry system malfunction, possibly caused by the extreme cold temperatures experienced over the last three days, led to the loss of pressure. Immediately upon learning of the malfunction, Village crews responded by overriding the automatic operating system and manually pumping water back into the system. Normal water pressure was restored in less than thirty minutes.

The Village of Hainesville has scheduled their trick or treat hours for:
Sunday, October 27th from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m.
For neighboring Grayslake, their schedule is:
Thursday, October 31 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Grayslake Business "Trick or Treat"
The Business "Trick or Treat" will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in downtown Grayslake with various Halloween festivities organized by the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce.

At Wednesday's District 46 School Board meeting, member Susan Facklam was censured for her role in distributing $5.00 gift certificates to voters during the recent Board election.
Emails obtained through the Freedom of Information Act by Lennie Jarratt, who was represented by Round Lake attorney Gerald Dietz, revealed that Facklam appeared to be fully aware what she had done was probably illegal. In emails sent to former Board President Mary Garcia, Facklam wrote "Don't let them turn us in; gifts to register to vote is probably illegal".
