Children of Fallen Riders “Magic Carpet Ride” Aug. 26

Children Of Fallen Riders is gearing up for its annual fundraiser – The Magic Carpet Ride will be held on August 26th, 2012 at Port Of Blarney’s in Antioch Illinois and is open to the public. Directions

From Children of Fallen Riders president, Susie Kleiner:

The original Magic Carpet Ride was organized by Tim Adkins and Joe Dvorak when they lost one of their best friends Al Robbins. Vice President of Children Of Fallen Riders Joe Dvorak says: “When you see someone in the same pain as you suffered your main goal is to help in any way you can.”

This event has close to doubled each year that it has taken place; we are anticipating around 1000 motorcycles and hoping for 1500 people at our upcoming event in August. With our 501(c)3 status, donations have begun to trickle in nationwide. Far exceeding what this close bunch of friends anticipated. From here the team at Children Of Fallen Riders expects a lot of growth, being contacted daily from all over the country, we have been asked to advise on how to organize bike runs, memorial runs, assist and lead in runs all over the country and we look forward to expanding our family.
