Congressman Dold Legislative Business Update: 4-9-12 Round Lake Beach

Running on a tight schedule, Illinois Congressman Robert Dold was able to squeeze in a brown-bag lunch meeting with a few lucky constituents to discuss the legislative business climate in Washington. The mini-forum was held at the Round Lake Beach Cultural Center and attended by Round Lake Beach Mayor Rich Hill, several Village trustees, a few local candidates, and a handful of local business owners.

It was good seeing Congressman Dold visiting some of the new turf he will be representing if re-elected in November. He’s a bit more soft spoken than our current Congressman, Joe Walsh, and even in a small conference room was a bit hard to hear without a mic. The video below is about an hour long and due to meshing two video formats together along with two conversions to reduce the overall file size for uploading, the audio and video tend to get a bit out of sync.
