Frostie Bites official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Round Lake Beach Mayor Rich Hill along with several members of the Chamber of Commerce and Village officials were on hand to welcome Frostie Bites owners Joe and Sarah Seidel into the Round Lake Area business community. Although Frostie Bites opened a couple weeks ago, this was their official Grand Opening and everyone was treated to free yogurt for an hour after the ribbon cutting ceremony.
In addition, Frostie Bites is offering a Buy one, Get one Free* special for the entire weekend so if you missed the ribbon cutting ceremony you can still stop by and try some of their delicious frozen yogurt. Many of those in attendance raved about the Hawaiian Pineapple yogurt which I have to agree was very tasty (but my favorite was the Very Berry even though I am a die-hard chocolate lover).
The crowd started to gather well before the ribbon cutting as the officials began to arrive. Shanna, from the Chamber of Commerce, arrived with the ribbon and big Chamber scissors. At 4:00, everyone gathered outside for the official ribbon-cutting as Mayor Hill made his welcoming speech followed by Joe Seidel inviting everyone inside for some free yogurt. Frostie Bites is located at 524 E. Rollins Road in Round Lake Beach (next to Buffalo Wild Wings). You can visit their website at www.FrostieBites.com for flavor updates and other announcements. You can also “Like” their Facebook page and see photos of the yogurt concoctions that people are dreaming up.
