Work continues at a rapid pace as crews continue to shoot for Friday’s target date to switch traffic over to the newly reconfigured Hainesville Road ahead of the November 11th closing of Rollins Road for two weeks. Masts have been installed for the new rail crossing lights and gates as they work ahead of the tracks being layed for the railroad bypass. Entrances to Mallard Creek as well as Jewel-Osco and Mrs V’s Restaurant and Garden Fresh are nearing completion as well for their planned opening on the 8th. of November. Please continue to support the local businesses who are affected by the road construction. All are open for business and the County has been very good about keeping their entrances marked and available.
