Hundreds Enjoyed the Village Tavern Veterans Pig Roast

They sure know how to throw an appreciation party at the Long Grove Village Tavern where another annual Veterans Pig Roast was held on Sunday, July 29th. The annual appreciation pig roast was put together by Chip and Mary Ann `Ullrich, owners of the Village Tavern. The throngs of veterans and supporters just kept coming and coming to not only enjoy the pig roast but also the three live bands that played throughout the afternoon and evening. Veterans and their families were treated to free meals as supporters came to thank them for their service and join in friendly conversation.
