Congressman Joe Walsh hasn’t lost the ability to draw record crowds at his Town Hall and “Cup of Joe with Joe Walsh” events. On Super Bowl Sunday, Walsh packed the FireWood Restaurant and Bar Lounge in McHenry, making parking spaces a premium. With the game set to kick off at around 5:30, local voters turned out en masse between 1:00 and 2:30 to hear what Congressman Walsh had to say as well as ask their questions.
Due to so many televisions being on in the sports lounge it may be rather hard to hear the specific questions since they did not pass around a mic. However, you can decipher what they may have been by Walsh’s answers. Topics ranged from the Keystone pipeline, recent Obama decisions on religious contraceptives, foreign affairs, and even whether Walsh would be attending Barney Frank’s wedding (at the end of the video which is an hour and ten minutes long)
