There will be an Informational open-house Meeting to discuss the proposed improvement to the MacGillis Drive Bridge. The meeting will be held at the Village Hall on September 24, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. If you are interested in this project, please plan to attend this meeting.
The meeting will be conducted on an open-house format. Representatives of the Village of Round Lake will be available to discuss the project. Representatives will answer individual questions and document comments offered by those who attend. The meeting will address topics such as the need for the project, right-of-way acquisition, and the tentative construction schedule.
Preliminary reports and an engineering analysis with drawings, maps, and aerial photography, will be available for inspection and viewing during the entire time. The same material is currently available for review and inspection at the Village of Round Lake Village Hall.
The proposed improvement to MacGillis Drive will include replacement of the existing bridge including reconstruction of the roadway either side of the bridge, replacement curb and gutter with storm sewer improvements, sidewalk replacement, and pavement markings.
