Rene Hernandez Jr. holds fundraiser with the support of Senator Dan Duffy
Working hard to empower his district by giving it a voice in Springfield
ROUND LAKE, IL (February 6, 2012) –Rene Hernandez Jr., candidate for Lake County Board District 16, is working hard on his promise to empower Lake County and his district by providing a greater voice in Springfield.
Rene is holding a meet and greet in the district to help achieve his goal of becoming the first Hispanic on the Lake County Board representing District 16. The keynote speaker for the event will be State Senator Dan Duffy (26 th District).
Rene feels that no lobbying group can represent the needs of his constituents in Springfield better than members of the Lake County Board. He wants to work with strong allies in the legislature and senate like Senator Duffy to better Lake County and his district for everyone.
The fundraiser will be held at 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at:
The Village Spirit
1123 N. Cedar Lake Rd.
Round Lake Beach, IL. 60073
When asked for comment Rene stated:
“I look forward to meeting my supporters on Sunday and continuing the communication I promised I would start with them. My district has been underserved by the current county board member for a long time and with Senator Duffy’s help we will change that. I look forward to working with him and everyone else in Springfield. I am extremely glad he shares my dream of increasing our constituent’s voices in Springfield. Together we will make Lake County and the 16 th District a better place for everyone.”
