Unlimited Quantity for 62nd District ResidentsHAINESVILLE, IL – State Rep. Sam Yingling will host a community Shred Day on Thursday, April 4, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the lot of Yingling’s full-time constituent service office, located at 20 W. North St. in Hainesville.
“As someone with a family history of small business ownership, I understand the need to properly dispose of sensitive documents, and the difficulty it can pose when they exist in bulk,” Yingling said. “I’m hoping to make it easier on businesses, not-for-profits, and residents in the area by providing them an opportunity to take care of bulk shredding, free of cost.”
As a full-time state representative, Yingling’s main district priority is to remain accessible to all of his constituents. With this Shred Day, Yingling hopes to accommodate the needs of both individuals and businesses with an environmentally conscientious way to dispose of documents with personal information.
“I am providing this service to constituents so that they can rest assured that documents that contain personal information are destroyed so that they are protected from identity theft,” Yingling said. “This event will not only protect against identity theft, but it is also good for the environment when documents are broken down before disposal. Shredded documents take up less space in landfills than do large stacks of documents.”
Yingling represents the 62nd District, which contains portions of Gages Lake, Grayslake, Hainesville, the Round Lake communities, and Wauconda.
NOTE: REMOVE ALL PAPER CLIPS, STAPLES, AND BINDERS PRIOR TO BRINGING FOR SHREDDING
