After some prodding the County engineer in charge of the Rollins Road Gateway Project just released the following update at 3:54 PM regarding this coming Friday, September 6th:
We have a quick follow up to yesterday’s update. Our electrical contractor had some better than expected productivity today and were able to relocate the mast arm today, one day ahead of schedule. Because everything went smoothly, they did not need to send the intersection into flash.
The traffic signal is now in its new (temporary) position, so you’ll be able to drive through the intersection tomorrow with no delay.
