Police Community Partnerships
Don’t forget that Tuesday, August 5th, is our local “National Night Out” at three of our Round Lake Area villages. National Night Out is designed to:
1. Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
2. Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs
3. Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
4. Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back
The following is a list of times for the various events. I have a previous commitment that will run into the early evening so I won’t be able to make any of these events to shoot any video footage. If anyone wants to volunteer some photos that I can stitch together for a video, please send them to me using the email listed on the Contact Us page, especially photos of the trophy winners.

Trustee Larry Mount confirmed that there WILL be shuttle buses from the RLB Cultural & Civic Center to the Lakefront Park every 15 minutes like last year to handle overflow parking. Forget about trying to find a parking space in the neighborhood if it’s at all like it was last year and take advantage of the free-ride buses.
