Round Lake Community Band Seeking New Members

The enthusiastic group of Round Lake Area Community Band members are looking for new members. They are looking for all levels of ability including those who want to restart their playing.  Musicians in the group range in age from junior high school to seniors. All that is required is the desire to play in a band. No auditions are required. You can simply show up at a rehearsal on any Tuesday night at 7:00 PM in the band room at Indian Hill school on Lotus Drive in Round Lake Heights. or contact them on Facebook. According to the latest edition of the Round Lake Park District “Winter 2013” catalogue, they are especially in need of percussionists and low brass instruments such as trombone, baritone,euphonium, French horn, and tuba (but all are welcome).

There is a $50 yearly membership fee to participate in the band. It can be paid all at once or in payments.
