Round Lake Swears in New Village Officials

Citizens First Party Takes Over Round Lake Village Board

At Monday nights general Village Board Meeting Judge Diane E. Winter swore in members of the Citizens First Party who now take over the Village President, Village Clerk, and three Trustee positions that were up for election this year. The new Village President is Daniel MacGillis who takes the reins from outgoing President James Dietz. The new clerk is Patricia Blauvelt who takes over from outgoing clerk, Joyce Swieton. Two incumbent Trustees, Susan Triphahn and Don Newby, retained their seats. Henry Frye Jr. took over the trustee position given up by Sonia Sandoval.

The General Meeting then continued with the new village President honoring the outgoing officials with resolutions and plaques.
