Doors opened at 7:00 AM June 2, 2014 For those who love their biscuits and gravy freshly made or a Hardee's Frisco burger, the wait was over early this morning as the new Hardee's in Round Lake Beach opened their doors. There was plenty of excitement inside as the well-trained staff prepared for opening day. Outside, the people started gathering at the entrance as well as the convenient drive-thru before the opening. Vietnam veteran, Bob Massey, enjoyed one of the breakfast crowd favorites, biscuits and gravy. A Little Sparring At ALLSTAR Boxing’s Grand Opening

During Friday's Grand Opening ceremony at the new ALLSTAR Boxing gym, trainer Jose Hernandez, Jr., along with boxer Paco Saldana, gave a few demonstrations of some of the training that will go on for those who enroll in his program. Along with his father and co-owner, Jose Hernandez, Sr., the new facility officially opened on October 25th at 6:00. During the ceremony enrollments were already in the double digits. Jose Jr's. longtime trainer Larry Christian, from the Lake Villa/Lindenhurst area, was also in attendance along with his wife. Hernandez Jr. is a Golden Glove winner and you can see in the video that he knows his stuff as he spars with Paco without any protective gear on.
