Will This Blizzard Break Previous Records

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you are aware of the heavy snow expected for the Chicagoland and suburban areas. Previously, they were reporting that we could get anywhere from a foot to 20″ of snow with a slight possibility of breaking the old record of 23″ back in 1967.

I was watching Channel 7 news earlier this morning and NOW they are saying that this snowfall will be measured in feet, not inches. Chicago could end up with 34.4 inches while areas like Gurnee could get as much as 31.4 inches. For those who weren’t born back in 1967 or didn’t live around here, below are some photos that I scanned from a pull-out section saved from the Chicago Tribune.
