The annual Legions of Craft Beer Festival that supports local veterans will be held Sept. 15 at Gurnee Mills. At least 80 different beers from more than 35 breweries, many of them local, can be tasted.
“This year we’re focusing on hyperlocal breweries so that people can explore all that Lake County and the surrounding region have to offer,” said Jack Linehan, assistant to the village administrator of Gurnee. “It should be our biggest year yet.”
At the fourth annual event, participants can taste up to 20 of these pale, light, dark and flavorful brews as well as wines and hard ciders for $50 per ticket.
