Jason Heyward bats leadoff, Taylor Davis starts at catcher and Addison Russell sits in Cubs-Marlins series finale

Jason Heyward, who hit the game-winning home run Wednesday night, will bat in the leadoff spot Thursday as the Cubs attempt to win the final game of their four-game series against the Marlins at Wrigley Field.

Manager Joe Maddon said he has been pleased with Heyward’s .398 on-base percentage. He’s batting .286. (30-for-105) with six homers and 18 RBIs.

Taylor Davis will again be Yu Darvish’s catcher. Darvish has allowed six runs in 10 innings with Davis behind the plate. Addison Russell is out of the starting lineup.
