Sheriff Mark Curran is pleased to announce the Lake County Sheriff’s Office earned “Triple Crown” status with the National Sheriff’s Association (NSA). According to the NSA, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office is “one of only 44 sheriffs’ offices in the United States to have attained this status.”
The “Triple Crown” designation is achieved when simultaneous accreditation by the American Correctional Association (ACA), the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC), and the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) is received.
Sheriff Curran stated, “I am grateful to our personnel for their dedication with ensuring the delivery of professional services to our community. The residents of Lake County can take great pride in knowing they are serviced by one of the premier Sheriff’s Offices in the nation. My staff and I look forward to receiving the “Triple Crown” plaque and sharing the recognition with those who helped earn this achievement.”
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is set to be recognized and awarded the “Triple Crown” plaque at the National Sheriff’s Association’s Annual Education and Technology Expo, in Louisville, Kentucky, on Monday, June 17, 2019.Original Source
