A community forum this week will give Community Consolidated School District 46 residents a chance to share what they want in their next superintendent.
The forum, which will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at Frederick School, 595 Frederick Road in Grayslake, will be led by search firm B.W.P. & Associates, LTD.
The goal is to gather community input on what qualities and characteristics are needed in a superintendent, according to a news release. The meeting will also serve as an opportunity for the search firm to provide information to the public about the search process.
The current superintendent, Ellen Correll, is set to retire at the end of the 2018-19 school year after 14 years with the district.
